The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 这片要表达的不是英雄迟暮，而是“英雄永不死，只是渐凋零”。一个男孩，总是要有人带他走一段路，教他成为一个男人。谨记：努力成为一个像东木这样的人！
老了的东木太温柔了。观感就是淡淡的公路片，一片祥和美好，也许老了就可以更柔软的看这个世界。
电影本身两星都够呛，但是还能看到老东木，就不敢再做奢求。
“这份爱我们分享得如此之久，这双灵魂我们如此靠近”最亮眼的就是其中墨西哥歌词了，一个略显奇怪寻亲故事，对于孩子来说当然还是美国好。

真的就像老人讲故事
沒想像中的差，但總還是希望東木爺繼續拍下去，就算只是這種簡單的小品也行...
91岁的伊斯特伍德，感觉看一天少一天了……影片本身并不出彩，甚至有点沉闷。唯一的感觉就是：年轻时的追求男子气概、刺激…只是一层皮而已，真正让你安心，值得的，反而是平淡的日常，两人三餐四季。这个道理被一个91岁的老人讲出来，莫名的厚重与悲凉。
相当有失水准的克林特的电影，但是为了看他，我也愿意看。可是确实是他发挥得不好的一部电影。
剧情平铺直叙少亮点，叙事节奏也比较温吞，故事展现得很温柔，也可以看出作为年老牛仔的东木想展示的表达。牛仔迟暮，但是雄心仍旧。
