The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 好想看老亨利前传，或拿了一大笔钱的小亨利后传
一段命中注定的相遇，再最后一次闪光过后，结束了老牛仔罪恶的一生，年轻的牛二代踏上通往现代的征程。
看了“比利小子”的历史后顿觉本片又精彩了几分，特别是老演员和真实的“比利小子”的脸型非常相似，但是又是一张非常丧的老农民的脸，这使他最后决战时的英姿显得尤为帅气。舞剑之人必死于剑下，在江湖上混早晚都是要还的，片中的那对渊源在我看来实在是一个十分浪漫的宿命安排。
优秀的西部片太少了！节奏虽缓慢，导演见功底。情节虽简单，反转够给力。演技过硬，剧本扎实！
西部片里的精悍作品，西部风光、牛仔、骏马还有枪战，该有的都有了，算不上经典，但也值得一看

很好的故事设计，既延续了传奇（或重新演绎了传奇），又隐喻了现实，一举两得。决战场面的设计很精彩，结尾的反转也恰到好处。近年来难得好看的西部片。
