The story appears simple on the surface, but is revealed, especially after multiple viewings, as more multi-layered and textured than Cassavetes at his best. Ostensibly it concerns a 14-year old Catholic girl, Wynne (Agutter) growing up in this post-modern wasteland, who develops a crush on her much older adoptive brother (Marshall)- a crush which perversely deepens and grows into infatuation once she starts to believe he is the local sex killer. This is in itself an idea that makes you sit up and jolt, but as the narrative develops, it continues not necessarily along a linear path but in several confusing and fascinating directions: the family's history, (detailed effectively in chilling flashback during an improvised seance) is a chequered one, and has suffered at least one major relocation and upheaval in the last ten years. At the crux, however, it's the depiction of socialal changes that make I Start Counting so fascinating and elevate its language far beyond the confines of the standard horror film. The major subtext- that teenage girls were maturing more quickly than before, and developing full sexual and romantic appetites (even if in thought rather than deed) but were not possessed of enough discretion to make the right choices- was a step forward for a genre in which its young females had previously been portrayed as bimbo victims (Cover Girl Killer and The Night Caller spring to mind), but not one that all viewers would necessarily agree with. But most striking of all, and possibly the most enduring image which the viewer will take away with them, is of the masterful symbolism with which director Greene invests every shot. Every inch of the Kinch family's world- their house, their walls, their TV, Agutters underwear, bedroom furniture and toys, Sutcliffe's clothes, Marshalls van, the local Catholic church, their town centre, their record shop) - is painted a bright, scintillating white- a white which, by inference, is slowly becoming smudged and corrupted with the dirt of the outside world. White also symbolises, of course, purity and innocence (two qualities Catholic schoolgirls are supposed to hold dear), and it is into this world of innocence that the ever-present red bus (a symbol of violation and penetration), conducted by the lecherous yet similarly juvenile Simon Ward, makes regular journeys. The allegory is further expanded in one scene where Agutter believes she sees the Christ figure in church weeping blood: by the time we acknowledge it, its gone, but the seed has already been planted. Rarely in a genre production has the use of colour and background been so important or effective in creating a uniformity of mood. I Start Counting is as near-perfect an end to a decade as one could hope for, and exactly the kind of film people should be making now- which is, of course, exactly why they never will. 又一部从平凡小人物视角描写奋斗者的影片。演员都很专业，影片塑造的兄妹亲情令人动容。平凡人之间的互帮互助，是除了亲情之外影片最温暖的底色，每个配角都活得那样艰难却有尊严！最喜欢众人对抗小混混一段戏，有笑有泪，扬眉吐气！很适合春节观看。
我们要永远铭记他们的荣誉；国产电影还需进步，不能因为思想红旋律正就大唱赞歌。
当然缺点也很明显，三个导演的拍片风格有点互相抢的意思，能看出些许的割裂感，有些特效场面不知道是什么原因充满了塑料感，但是总的来说，这已经是中国电影工业目前能拍出来的最好的战争片了，强烈推荐电影院里观看，能看IMAX版本的就更好了。
应该可以更好，但是既然集齐三个导演并且需要拍出来不好拍的群像戏，艺术性就会被相应削弱些。
太长了，剧情却不饱满。很多感情戏真的没必要。所以槽点太多了。看得我想回家再看一遍那人那兔那些事里面抗美援朝那一集。东北是真特么冷。那些士兵要去打别人的仗真的不容易。
很不错的电影，关注的人群很接地气，整个奋斗的故事也相对真实了，几位演员（尤其是四字）演技都很棒，演出了小人员的真实感。四字又有进步了，台词也能说清楚了，和妹妹的感情戏很有泪点。扣一分在结局上，其实景浩设定为重回大学就好了，霸总有点狗尾续貂了。
新年第一部戏看了《奇迹》希望来年也能像他们一样创造属于自己的奇迹，表扬下易烊千玺，真的是演什么像什么，以后他的电影一定会去看的！

我们绝大多数人都很难体会战争年代，确实，很难很难，那种为国捐躯的燃，那种饥寒交迫的忍，那种军令如山的律，完全体会不了，但绝对不是网友们体验吃冰柜里的冻土豆或穿着比基尼在冰天雪地里感受零下几十度的情境，收起这些愚蠢的行为吧。能感受到内心的强烈冲击吗，走出影院想好好做个人吗，这就达到温故历史带来的国民素质教育了。——2021.10.4
好看，生活不会把善良的人打到！易烊千玺演技更细腻了。剧情有泪有笑，充满时代感，春节合家欢电影。
从《爱情神话》和《奇迹》的评分能得出一结论，活跃在豆瓣上的人多数是70、80后，这部电影，最起码也得八分以上啊，别挑逻辑和合理性，不能自己没遇到过好人就说天下没那么多的好人，一个机遇在景昊面前是机遇，在别人面前就是浮云，自己没抓着别人抓着了说这肯定瞎扯，太坐井观天了。
谁都有难处，虽然结局是he，但是整片看起来就是小人物的人生，景浩不过是万分之一的成功者，更多的人熬不过那些苦难
这这这。。。。这是普通人的奋斗？我想问那几个人为什么要支持男主啊，就因为他是男主？
新年第一场电影，文牧野的第二部长剧情影片没让人失望，有热血有笑点也有泪点，演员易烊千玺和角色适配度100%，演技比之前更上一层楼，愿大家都年年有好景，岁岁有奇迹！

公司党建活动看的，主旋律片不能要求更高了，以后慢慢努力吧。。。
看了点映，从总体来说不同于以往战争片普遍存在的空喊口号，这部片子仿佛自己就置身于战争中。
