Arkham, 1975: Jonathan Davis' father has disappeared. His tracks lead to Germany, to the Swabian-Franconian Forest where he was stationed after the Second World War. brutashell review - 'Filmed in black and white and primarily spoken in German, it is obvious that Die Farbe did not have a huge budget to work with. Effects are minimal and the cast is utterly unknown. I should point out that these are all good things, and work very much in the film's favour. There is no CGI to rely on, no name actors to carry it. Rather, the filmmakers do the unthinkable: they create a genuine atmosphere of unimaginable dread and unspeakable horror, using shadow, suggestion and rare splashes of that Nameless colour in a few select frames. In short, they did a damn good job. Die Farbe is subtle in its mounting horror, nurturing a dark dread deep in your bowels with every shot. All of the best and most stomach-turningly distressing films I’ve ever seen have come out of Germany: M, The Cabinet Of Dr. Caligari, The White Ribbon, and now this one. Leave it to the Germans. We know how to gross you out on the deepest psychological levels.
Lovecraft worshippers and devotees of German Expressionism alike, take heed: seek out and view this film at your earliest possible convenience. It’s a dark, noisome little gem that will squirm into your subconscious and lay its eggs in your sanity. Hey, not everyone gets the honour of being a host organism for the Elder Gods, you know.'
整部电影的结尾，故事戛然而止，但是我更多的还是对整个电影主题的疑问。如果它想讲摆脱变态的父爱，那么神话传说的引入就不是那么恰当，前后的铺垫也不太完整；如果只是想讲一个恐怖故事，那么儿童虐待的问题就显得有些多余。不过值得一提的是，整部电影对于环境的渲染是相当不错的，无论是大雾的晚上、幽静的林中小路、漆黑一片的矿道，还是结尾辽阔的湖边，都很好地衬托了电影的氛围。
前半部分一直到温迪戈现身都不错 但后半部分极速降智，真的觉得有点侮辱观众智商的感觉…不知道在影片完成上是出了什么问题。
emmm…导演应该感谢他的摄影师，起码把氛围渲染出来了，制作成本一定很低。
今年的恐怖片都是雷声大雨点小，又一部失望之作…
有点无聊了 就几个镜头jump scare还可以
已经尽力，这肃杀冷冽的氛围营造地很不错了，就是这个故事还是烂尾了，还是太赶了。这种质感要是能稍微再延长一点拍成电视剧，说不定能成为第二个鬼入侵。
只是觉得结局很唏嘘，弟弟问：我们怎么忍心杀死我们爱的人？姐姐没有回答。但是不久的将来她要面临这个问题。小男孩嘴角的污渍也很可疑。
蓝光原盘，画面及音效真不错，尤其是黑位层次。
所以这片是想说有的父亲变成怪兽也还是好父亲，有的父亲人模人样干得全是禽兽不如的事情 吗…
铺垫那么久，被女主三下五除二灭了，灭大赠小，你把小男主当什么了？结局哥哥被感染，亲情与生存，咋，还想整个二出来吗？大可不必。
倒也不是多么难看
谁说这是闪灵续集？完全不挨边，除了景色好看，这是一部非常平庸的全是被讽刺好几遍的桥段穿起来的一部烂片
译名不如叫《鬼爸爸》。USA有两个塞勒姆。俄勒冈州的山林下起雨鬼气森森。
比较套路的恐怖剧，浪费了怪物，只出场了几分钟。
气氛到位，尸体特效也很给力，奈何最后这剧情的展开有点看不懂，姑娘女主不顾躺在医院里的重伤弟弟，只身一人赶去洞里单挑boss。而鹿力大仙居然被个姑娘用棒棒活活捅死
我想看一个简单的恐怖片。简单 低级 暴力 直接。Witcher里面关于leshy鹿首精的任何一个任务的剧情都要比这个恐怖片的剧情要好的太多。我想看个好看的电影 我不需要看一个电影教我做人科普哲学思想连带出来千面英雄 神话下的俄狄浦斯情结 女性觉醒。我就想看个他妈的简单的他妈的电影。真的特别怀念90年代00年代的怪兽片，比如科洛夫档案 迷雾。咱们把故事说好了真的不难。羊崽 soho 这个。今年太多烂片了 真的太难看了。绿骑士还不错 最起码可以把一个神话故事原模原样演出来。（这就算是很不错了。）
风景不错，但是怪物被弱鸡女主轻易杀死太突兀了
两个sheriff都惨死的桥段，然后一个弱女子竟然战胜了魔鬼，这剧情快赶上国内的无脑剧了
摄影被烂剧本来回拖累…导致一切都显得笨拙愚蠢
通篇暗色调来呈现小镇破败的气氛景观没问题，但所有的恐怖元素全部在黑的背景下呈现，那就根本没法看，这一点不得不佩服咒怨，人家真就能挖到你内心里的恐惧，哪怕就是大白天的场景，也能让人不寒而颤~
