The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 灯光摄影美术方面极佳！故事看不懂，看了高评论才知道却少相应的文化知识背景。
如幽灵般游荡在历史、小说、旧影与现实的灰烬里，在模糊了的互文中，写一篇悼文。
有诗意，没深度，这么简单一个故事能拍俩小时也是不容易。
男主在里面挺性感的。然而即使留着大胡子，也掩盖不住眼睛所揭露的软弱。当个小白脸还行。这也是大多数男人的通性吧。骑士所具备的素质一如中国的君子。都只是极少数的人。大多数人都是贪生怕死贪财好色好逸恶劳。
电影本身又严肃又可爱，就像一个老先生站在你面前，你本以为他要用大道理教训你，没想到他讲到最后却是一个童话故事。骑士最后一刻如果选择软弱，即使能够当上国王也终究是一个再平凡不过的普通人，只有他知道他的骑士精神已经被自己辱没了。既然人终有一死，不妨大胆一点去迈向你的使命，成为你最想成为的那种人。
3星，本片改编自 圆桌骑士里比较有名的一段故事《高文与绿骑士》，场景布局讲究尽显骑士浪漫情怀。故事改编后有点故弄玄虚强行加戏的感觉，把寓言故事拍成了一个文艺片。但寓言故事表达的精神没变，整体观感尚可，可以看看。

可爱的狗狗！虽然红色有点膈应…不过看着它的脸还挺舒服！
一个“迪士尼公主”，披了一层“聊斋皮”，喷上“A24香水”。难受。
视听享受，但这个享受并没有能带入到故事中，故事看得毫无趣味

虽然故事讲明白了，但是略显无聊，不够吸引人。
前面皮兰德娄的骨灰运输过程太让人焦虑了，反倒显得后面钉子的故事异常轻盈，没有多少炫技的地方，但总有种莫名的缺憾在心中挥散不去，我坐在黑暗的房间里，看着被风不断吹起的窗帘，小溪坐在地上看着我，哦还有窗外飘来的钢琴声，就那样停滞了几分钟，时间也不过如此。
