The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 格调，节奏和配乐都很合意，尤其音乐，很棒。故事么，一般般，但是还是给五分
以为是犯罪动作片，却是中规中矩的黑色宿命主题，大量对白和氛围衬托，对男主奥斯卡伊萨克的演技要求挺高！赌场里的21点大赛，一心只想复仇的少年，关塔那摩虐待囚犯的精神折磨，都在影片中！最后隔着玻璃对手指的镜头，想起了ET！
本片是保罗·施拉德对布列松式超验风格的临摹。背负虐囚、军事监狱罪孽的ptsd主角企图通过沉湎赌场洗刷灵魂深处的恐惧，鱼眼镜头下血腥凶残的虐囚闪回直指关塔那摩监狱种种泯灭人性的罪行，身穿星条旗的赌徒连胜是一种对美国国家权威的隐喻。然而施拉德终究否定了赎罪、解脱的可能性，人终将被创伤和罪孽吞噬。

复古不复古的，意义不大。壳具体且重，而符号性又不强。不做叙事，靠影像彰显，也就寥寥几笔可观。往前看，往后看，怎么都算不上好。
关于赌博和虐囚部分都很不错 但主角帮助男孩和放弃比赛的动机仍然缺乏必然性
以全片做铺垫为了引导别人看爽快血腥的复仇结局。。。结果就这。。。
本来应该给3分 毕竟oscar很帅 而且镜头也不错 但是最近真的厌倦这种遮遮掩掩的 还遮掩得不够有趣的 看得人好累
