The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 我感到最绝的部分是小儿子说“我听说过她的那些男朋友，她总是陷入麻烦，她以前还流产过”“我该怎么回答这个？我都是第一次听说”过于真实了。身为这一个家庭的儿子，不知母亲为何偏爱自己，不知姐姐和母亲为何感情微妙，和前女友难以复合，甚至不知道姐姐流产的过去。男性世界和女性世界如此隔绝，怪不得男性的缪斯是女人，女人不存在缪斯。

當cliche 拍得不落俗套，孩子想像的未來以及成年人不敢面對的將來，累極時為自己打打氣，c'mon c'mon c'mon c'mon。生命糟透了，但很正常。
就像偶然截取的人生片段，没有前因，没有后果，也没有那么多“为什么”的答案。你要做活在地球上的小孩，就要准备好去拥抱痛苦、不安、悲伤、混乱、无意义的废话，和一点快乐。无论朝向怎样的未来，总还是要往前走。C’mon c’mon.
好像目标是essay film，结果像个video essay。今年看过的第n部主角进了精神病院的电影了。

想象中美国独立电影的样子。尤其适合下班后的夜晚，沙发上，裹着毯子，我被抚平了。
PS:华金在小丑爆红后，接的竟是这样一部温柔的作品，他真是个有想法的演员，或者因为有了孩子才选择的这个题材？
黑白，诗意。我们是否也应该被孩子们教育呢？不知道，因为我们从未倾听过。影片缺点就是太平淡，小孩任性引起不适了。总之谈不上喜欢。
成年后兀自感到的孤独和失落可能源于已经忘记的儿时经历的不愉快，偶尔在某一刻又回忆想起，想要记录下来当时却没有纸笔，随后安慰自己算了吧，也不是什么重要的事情。
这种慢慢慢慢风格放在英文电影上感觉总有点奇怪
