The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. 如果是人格分裂或者催眠的故事，虽然很俗气，但也无功无过。如今这剧本在现实主义和超现实主义之间来回逡巡试探的模样真是丑陋得可怕。

「廣播劇」式作品，很考各演員的功架(無論是表情還是聲音)，導技反而不太重要。Jake Gyllenhaal由頭帶到尾，而且駕馭得到片中的大量特寫鏡頭。

我说怎么越看越是一股熟悉的味道，原来是翻拍丹麦的那部。老吉的情绪张驰更大，感觉略微有点过头，但也正是老吉单人这丰富的情绪变化撑起一个半小时。

史上最低成本制作！没有之一！整部片子只有一个场景就是办公室，只有一个道具就是电话，甚至演员只有一个都可以，除了男主其他两个纯龙套，这么一部烂片居然被我看完了。。。
Joe一个人1.5小时的独角戏，考验演员，也考验观众…难得看到一部主打悬疑的电影能让我看到昏昏欲睡想快进想倍速…逻辑可以自洽没有硬伤，但也没有亮点，无功无过，看完感觉平平无奇。
