The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 电影的剪辑和镜头切换是极致。音乐不错但是作为音乐电影来说的确偏弱。
观影门槛比爱乐之城甚至是直白讽刺的芝加哥要高，很挑观众，对林聚聚没有丝毫了解的可能会看得一头雾水，可以想象评价的两级分化。

一个烂俗的故事线配上了不伦不类的迪士尼音乐和尬舞：（

全片唯一高潮似乎就是桑德海姆的“到场“，音乐剧电影拍成剧情和歌曲完全不相融，精心设计出的歌词与画面的“同步”无法带来任何情感上的共鸣。不触及90年代真实的政治氛围、不展现舞台艺术在LGBT文化运动中的先锋性质，就永远无法正确地驱魔，没有记忆何来克服，只有浮于表面的致敬。
11.27 年度音乐（剧）片，LMM用电影导演处女作证明了他已经革新了当今宽街音乐审美，没犯大错+完成度高，还要啥自行车，预习吉屋出租后才能捕捉到海量彩蛋，To Jonathan Larson！
不是我的菜，跟la la land比不是一个量级的。歌很一般，没啥记忆点，调度也没亮点，林的《汉密尔顿》我就不感冒，这部也一样。

我的二小姐戏份有点少，但是依然不妨碍我对它的滤镜。其次，真的很喜欢唐顿的服化道。从婚礼到葬礼，一个时代结束了。

年度惊喜，加菲表演太精彩了，剧情流畅，感情细腻，配乐更是美妙。主角团队演唱的每一首歌都超级好听，故事中透露着力量。导演用的叙事手段很高明和传记本尊故事一样激动人心，紧扣人心。一场无与伦比的视听盛宴。
几乎要4.5星！ “接下来我要怎么做？ ”“开始写下一部，孩子。 ”
最后有点感人，加菲老了但露出脆弱一面的时候还是像小朋友
