The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 就我而言，这个故事本身的意义要大于影像魅力，影片平实地展示了游牧民的生活，讲述边缘化的困顿，个体归属和自由，相当安静，就像掷入篝火的石头，但除此之外我见不到再多本应引起注视的问题了
也不会像你想象的那么坏

其实情节一般，但是节奏好，拍出了一种不哀不伤的人生态度。
不止于公路片，不是漫无目的地追求自由，而是除了自由已一无所有。
赵婷身兼数职的确保证了个人表达的一致性，但也因此而失去了更好的可能，至少在剪辑方面是有一些可以改善的地方的。
电影从头至尾的那种悲伤和执着深深打动着我，生命中那些来来去去的人们，不管去了哪里，不管是短暂的还是永远的，都记得在告别时说一句I'll see you down the road，总有一天会再相见，而那些一起经历的往事，或美好或残酷或悲伤，都会一直留在那片广阔无垠的天地里，永远都在。很爱本片的摄影！#NYFF58#
